Nom Life is dedicated to life, liberty and the pursuit of salmon onigiri

We’re Nom Life, aka Ewa & Jeromy Ko!

We both come from first generation immigrant families (from Taiwan and Hong Kong) and grew up in the food industry. We even met while working in a Chinese restaurant together, so our love of food has been a part of our relationship from the beginning. Growing up in restaurant families; we were inspired to shed light on local restaurants, industry folks and the culture around them, leading to the creation of Nom Life (the life of always eating) in 2014.

What began as a passion project became a platform to share and highlight both travels at home and afar, and in 2023, Nom Life was announced as a James Beard Media Award finalist(!!) for dedication to amplifying Asian culture and traditions through food and thoughtful storytelling on social media. Our little family business has expanded to include Ewa's brother, Andrew, in full time production and occasional exuberant cameos from our families.

It's a full circle moment to return to our roots and the food culture and world we grew up with and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.
